New Release: Garmin Push Feature Our latest software release includes the ability to push Athletica training session files to your Garmin device via Garmin Connect for clear session guidance by your device wherever you are training. Importantly, once you sync (either manually or automatically), any changes to that session made by Athletica will automatically update the synced session in Garmin. That means the adaptive training is on track and keeps working right to the moment you start your session. The following is a brief guide to help you get this set-up.
  1. Disconnect your current sync. To start, you’ll need to go through the process of breaking your Garmin-Athletica link first if you already have one.
  2. Next, reconnect the link and accept the terms and conditions again.
  3. Go to your Training Plan and choose the session on Athletica (bike or run) that you want PUSHED to your Garmin device via the hamburger icon in the upper right quadrant of the training session in question.
  4. Finally, as an option, and if you want ALL your bike and run training sessions in Athletica pushed to your device, go to your Profile, and check the box needed to ‘Automatically sync workouts to Garmin’ as shown.
